Sparkhop was founded in February, 2010. It was that month the site initially launched as a small hip hop blog built upon a team of dedicated creatives. Emcee's, graphic designers, producers & promoters working side by side using their passion for the music behind it all. A have fun mentality, a focus on quality music, & the drive to never give up on those things we love doing.

Over the last two years we've dropped nearly thirty original projects such as SKYWLKR "Strawberry Cough", Kolorful "In Living Kolor", Matt Schwartz, "X&O's Part III", Myke Murder, "Mixtape Theory", Dan Sykes, "Vocal Box Music" Joe Commisso " We Know Nothing", Chad Kush, "Cutlass Supreme", & many others. Alongside our exclusive projects our team has helped assemble & or participate in nearly 100 local shows since being founded including 2011's Sparkfest '11 & BIG WAX show both of which featured some greatest local talents from the Detroit & Tri-State area. With 2012 already underway we are working to bring even more great shows to the local area!

In 2010 Sparkhop introduced sparksh^p & helped introduce the world to Collective: Culture Apparel. Going in 2012 we will introduce many new creations via our shop page all well keeping it as affordable as every to stay with the dopest swag!!
